A member of the Society of Environmental Journalists, Lisa recently contributed to a National Geographic Roundtable Discussion about renewable energy. During Climate Week 2023 she was quoted in an NPR story about microgrids.
Her clean energy editorials have appeared in the Oregonian, Bend Bulletin, Eugene Register-Guard and Portland Tribune.
She has written blogs, articles, thought leadership pieces and white papers for a number of organizations and companies, including Power for All, Enel X, the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians, HeatSpring and StudioID/Industry Dive.
For more than 20 years Lisa worked as a stringer for newsletters published by McGraw-Hill/Platt’s Energy publications. She is a former U.S. stringer for Windpower Monthly Magazine and a former associate editor of Oregon Business Magazine. She began her writing career as an energy and environment reporter for The Cape Cod Times.
An occasional Public Relations pro, Lisa has appeared on the Today Show and AM Northwest and has been quoted by numerous local and national publications.
Lisa has received numerous writing awards, from the Pacific Northwest Writers Association, Willamette Writers, Associated Oregon Industries and other organizations.
Lisa holds a master’s degree in journalism from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University.

Since graduating Magna Cum Laude in Finance in 2019 and working in financial valuation through 2021, Travis has melded his expertise in monetary systems with a burgeoning passion for data-driven analysis. His proficiency in this area led to his current pursuit of a Master of Science in Computational Analytics degree at Georgia Tech.
